Weaver Studio (M Bell Architects) is located in the little urban village of Observatory, Cape Town. We are a team consisting of Minette Bell, the principal architect and designer, and her diverse team of young designers and architects. We are passionate about delivering site and context-specific designs that address environmental, social, urban and economic issues. We pride ourselves in working closely with our clients to co-create their dream while also ensuring the final realisation is responsive and sensitive to its environment and built on sound design principles.
The experiential element of architecture is very important to our office. We design buildings that want to be lived in. This means that we spend time thinking about the character of every space and crafting buildings that become more than just a collection of rooms.
We like to work in teams and pride ourselves on being excellent communicators. Nothing makes us happier than working on projects where everyone is excited about the beauty and quality of the end product!
